"Where did I put the phone" is something child me never had to wonder. Modern tech sure is nice, but it is not without its own annoyances.

That which does not kill you is still a jerk for trying. Don't accept its bs about 'helping' by "making you stronger".

yup. I think vol 2 is the best in the series.

(Sorry for the late reply, totally missed this at the time)

As Heard On Radio Soulwax part 2 remains a real gem. Year after year I keep listening to it time and time again.

I hope you are enjoying your X-Pro2 as much as I enjoy mine. :)

or on, yes.

Always feels nice when I'm not the only person wanting the bus to stop.

Highs in the mid thirties this week. It's officially too damn hot already. Does not bode well for the summer.

I take it you're not a fan of Turkish style?

Let’s say there’s a big boat. Huge with many people. We are all riding along on this boat, things are going reasonably well for most. The sea is a little rough, the boat is taking on a little water over the edge but not much. Overall things seem “okay, a bit rough, could be better but not terrible”. Suddenly, the captain of the boat comes out of the cabin and says “later, everybody”. He walks to the back of the boat where there’s a helicopter waiting and it takes him away, safe and sound. Okay, so there’s no longer anyone steering the boat and things are clearly not fantastic. People look to the front of the boat and see a rather large iceberg looming. Half the people suddenly start yelling the boat will hit the iceberg, the other half insist it will be close but everything will be fine. A vote is taken and one of the “we are all doomed” people is chosen to be the new captain. He proudly walks in to the cabin, looks at the instruments, and starts loudly proclaiming that yes, the boat is clearly headed for the iceberg and drastic measures are needed. He grabs the wheel and starts immediately steering the boat towards the iceberg. He begins complaining about how the last guy left us on a boat heading for doom, how we all should be in private yachts that are more flexible anyway, and it’s really a shame how the boat was set up to hit the iceberg. Meanwhile he keeps turning the wheel more and more to bring the boat straight into the center of the iceberg.
