New Year’s resolution: 2436x1125
@matigo been meaning to do it for a while, finally got around to it since I'm cutting back on Patreons (for obvious reasons).
@streakmachine I do that quite a bit also. See the slightest hint of glowing orange off in the distance and I’m like “squirrel!” And there goes whatever thing I was working on.
@matigo not that I’ve found yet. One orb per shrine, four orbs for one heart or 1/5 a stamina circle. You also get one heart per “Devine beast” you rescue (of four total) but those are like mini-bosses so you need lots of hearts to survive them.
@matigo Nah, it's a game mechanic. To get more hearts or stamina you need orbs, which are only found by solving puzzles in shrines. I suck at pretty much everything except puzzles. To survive even simple combat I need more hearts, to scale cliffs I need more stamina. Hence the bulk of my Zelda playtime is looking for shrines and collecting these orbs.
The way I play it the new Zelda probably should have been called Shrine Hunter 2017.
Further iPhone misadventures: Following the excellent advice @matigo gave, I swapped the cable and charger for known good ones. My iPad is charging just fine so I used those. This morning I woke up to see 80% charged. After almost an hour getting ready while the phone is plugged in (with the green charging battery icon) it now says 78%. Poop.
